Andrew Jay Svedlow has produced his paintings, prints, works on paper, performance art, and sculpture in places as diverse as the Kansas prairie and the streets of New York City. He received his BA in Fine Arts from the Corcoran School of Art and George Washington University, a Masters Degree from Bank Street College of Education, and a Ph.D. from Penn State University. He has studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology, the East-West Center in Hawaii, as well as the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Kansan Seminar Center in Kyoto, Japan. An artist, teacher, and arts administrator, he is currently Dean of the College of Performing and Visual Arts at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado.
