Jennifer is a UNC graduate student with an emphasis in arts education with research in arts integration through The Center for Integrated Arts Education. Her focus for the past 13 years has been public and museum arts education. She holds a BS in Arts Education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and Colorado teaching certificate. Before attending UNC Jennifer gained professional experience as Arts Integration specialist for Denver Public Schools, executive director of Art Association of Jackson Hole, education coordinator for Museum of Contemporary Art | Denver, education consultant for Aspen Art Museum, instructor for Gibbes Museum of Art and visual art teacher for Ashley River Creative Arts Magnet in South Carolina. Jennifer is honored and excited to be part of the Center, with future research projects examining the different forms of arts integration and how these effect transfer from content areas and school ecology.
Jennifer’s current art making comes in the form of painting, printmaking, video and drawing.
