This artist loves marketing as much as she loves the arts. 1st hour: Learn marketing basics on product, branding, budgets, and how to get your name and art out there. 2nd hour: Work specifically on online and street fair business plans, plus learn about opportunities in the area to show and sell your art.

Have you done a few shows or opened an online shop to sell your art? If you have taken that first step, but don’t know where to go next, you are ready for this class. Learn ETSY and get one-on-one consultation on how you can take your art career further. Plan or improve on shows, network with other artists in Northern Colorado. Specific critiques on photos of your art, your shop, and your website. Bring samples.

Fine arts on recycled material. Work with old book pages, retired cabinet doors, once-loved pieces of clothing and other objects that are begging to be found valuable again. Any level of ability and experience are welcome at this laid back class. Learn more about applied color and design. Mixed media collages can be realistic, playful, or editorial, but they will always be personal. You’ll love both the process and the pieces that you create, and walk away with dozens of ideas for future creation.

Join Dr. Andrew Jay Svedlow, Dean of the College of Performing and Visual Arts for a conversation about collecting art and enhance your knowledge and understanding of contemporary and historical works of art. Whether you are just starting out as a collector or are want to continue to develop your skills as an art connoisseur, this seminar will help you on your path to enjoying the art of collecting.
