UNC Choirs

Students from across campus all have the opportunity to participate in any of the five award-winning choral ensembles at the University of Northern Colorado. Auditions are open to anyone who loves to sing, music majors and non-music majors alike.

Ensembles

Concert Choir

The Concert Choir is the premier mixed ensemble at the University of Northern Colorado, and is made up of 65-70 singers from all across the University community, and have performed at national and divisional conferences of the American Choral Directors Association and National Collegiate Choral Organization.

Glee Clubs

The Glee Clubs are among the oldest ensembles at UNC, and in addition to performances of their own, combine with the Concert Choir to perform the great masterpieces of the choral/orchestral genre, most recently the Verdi Requiem and Mendelssohn’s Elijah.

Chamber Choir

The Chamber Choir is a 32-voiced select ensemble specializing in choral chamber music from a variety of music style periods. Recent international performances for the Chamber Choir have included Vienna, St. Nicholas Church in Prague Old Town Square, and the Ave Verum International Choral Competition in Baden, Austria.

University Singers

The University Singers is a group of up to 40 singers that is open to the entire campus community with no audition required.
