Mark Fetkewicz

Mark Fetkewicz leads the Graphic Design program at UNC and teaches
all levels of Graphic Design coursework and Foundations. He has over
ten years of teaching experience and has taught at Edinboro University
in Pennsylvania, Moore College of Art in Philadelphia and the University
of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Mark also acts as faculty advisor for the student Graphic Design club,
Bare Graphics. Mark has over fifteen years experience in graphic design,
art direction and marketing and has worked with clients in the U.S.
and abroad. He has won regional and national awards for his work and
has illustrations and articles published in the United States and Austria.
Originally trained as a painter, Fetkewicz is a strong believer in
the importance of fine arts foundations for any student aspiring to
become a fine or applied visual artist -a philosophy in keeping with
that of the School of Art and Design
