Dennis Morimoto specializes in photographic imaging and is responsible
for the establishment of comprehensive programs in Photographic Imaging and graphic
arts in three colleges at UNC. His photographs and multi-media presentations
have been exhibited throughout the United States. His former students
have won numerous professional imaging and teaching awards, exhibited
and published internationally.
Recent instructional developments include establishment
of a course in Digital Photography and coordination of graduate students
in Photography in development of instructional guides for electronic
media used by faculty and students in the School of Art and Design
. His
students also contribute photographic work in collaborative efforts
with other colleges at UNC for newsletters, publications, and class
projects -- many of which have been recognized for creativity by groups
such as the Colorado Press Association for work with The Greeley Tribune
and the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.
