Dr. Anna Ursyn
Professor of Art and Design

Anna Ursyn leads the Computer Graphics program in Art and Design. The Computer Graphics program focuses on two-dimensional and three-dimensional computer graphics, animation production, multimedia, web design and visualization and information graphics, and the history of computer art graphics. Computer Art courses are aimed toward the student's progress in art making and computer generated image creation, cognitive art, personal expression of artistic problems, and graphic solutions in communication. This platform is interdisciplinary in nature and offers students ways of integrating scientific concepts with their own artistic solutions. Computer Based Technology in Visual Arts and Computer Technology in Art Education courses prepare prospective and current teachers for teaching with the use of technology and computers. Students accepted for competitions, publications, awarded student volunteer positions, won awards at conferences, and had works published in textbooks.
