Admission RequirementsStudents who have completed an undergraduate degree in art or art education or the equivalent and whose grade point average is a minimum of 3.0 based on the last 60 semester hours of coursework may apply for the Master of Arts degree program in the School of Art & Design. An applicant who does not have an undergraduate major in art or art education, or its equivalent, will be required to complete specified coursework or areas of study before beginning the program. Admission to the Master of Arts in Art & Design degree program is approved by the faculty of the School of Art & Design following an evaluation of the applicant's admission materials. Admission DeadlinesApplications for admission to the Master of Arts programs in the Art and Design are reviewed twice each year. The due date for fall semester applications is March 1. You will be notified of your admission status after April 15. Spring semester applications are due October 1, with notification due after November 15. No applications will be reviewed during the summer. Applications received after the deadline will be reviewed the following semester. Applicants need to submit materials to the Graduate School at least 20 working days before the School deadline. |
