Scholarships

Scholarships through the School of Art and Design will be offered for the next
academic year to deserving visual arts majors.

DEADLINE: SECOND MONDAY IN FEBRUARY
Scholarships are offered in four categories:

• Incoming Freshmen
• Returning as Sophomores
• Returning as Juniors
• Returning as Seniors

To qualify, incoming freshmen must be a declared PRE-VA art major and a full time
student (registered for 12 hrs). Incoming freshmen candidates will be screened/evaluated on the strength of their application materials. Returning art majors must maintain a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 and carry a full load (12 hrs) of academic credit. These are one year scholarships. To qualify for the next year, you must repeat the application each February. Scholarship application materials must be retrieved from the Visual Arts Office by the end of spring semester.
