UNC Bluegrass Camp

July 6-8, 2018

UNC's first ever folk and bluegrass music camp will feature sessions and ensembles led by the Folk and Bluegrass faculty. Sessions will include banjo, mandolin, guitar, fiddle and bass as well as songwriting. Students will have opportunities to play in ensembles to develop performance skills and repertoire, and will get to show off their skills at the bluegrass faculty concert on July 8th, 2018! Ages 13+ welcome, Adults Too!!

Camp Schedule
  • Friday, July 6, 12:00 PM-4:30 PM
  • Saturday, July 7, 9:00 AM-4:30 PM
  • Sunday, July 8, 9:00 AM-9:30 PM
    • 3:00 PM - Final Concert 
    • 7:30 PM - Concerts Under the Stars featuring the UNC Bluegrass Ensemble. The bands will play a few numbers at the end of the concert.
