Call for Scores

Open Space Festival of New Music announces its annual call for scores competition. This year the instrumentation is flute, violin, and percussion (either solo works or in any combination). Winning composers will be flown to Colorado to participate in the festival, including a masterclass with composer Kate Soper where their works will be read by Wet Ink new music ensemble. Travel will only be covered within the continental United States. There is no age limit, but composers must be enrolled in an academic program to apply.

Composers may submit a maximum of two pieces. For each work, you must submit a score and recording. Scores and bio should be in PDF format, recordings should be in MP3 format. All submissions must be original compositions. There is NO submission fee. All materials must be submitted by November 1, 2018.
