- Registration
Conference and Competition registration can be completed via the ITEA website.
Conference registration (ITEA membership required): $15 before March 1, $20 from March 1 until conference
Competition registration: $30 for all solo competitions, $20 for mock auditionsA pianist will be provided for all solo competitors.
- Competitions
General Information:
- Competitions do not include a preliminary round.
- Solo competitors will be provided a conference pianist and 30 minute rehearsal before the competition.
- Monetary prizes are as follows:
- Young Solo Artist competitions: Winner: $100.00; Runner-Up: $50.00
- Solo Artist Competitions: Winner: $150.00; Runner-Up: $75.00
- Orchestral or Band Mock Auditions: Winner: $100.00 (no prize for runner-up)
- Competition applicants cannot hold or have held a professional position in music.
- Registration for competitions is done when registering for the conference.
- Competition registration closes on March 6, 2017.
