Langworthy Theatre
Frasier Hall
Langworthy Theatre is a 520-seat proscenium house. It was originally constructed in the 1950's as the Frasier Theatre and eventually renamed for professor of theatre Helen Langworthy.
Features of Langworthy Theatre include a hydraulic orchestra pit lift and a motorized stage revolve. Recent past productions in Langworthy have included Children of Eden, Pride and Prejudice, Aida, and August: Osage County.
Norton Theatre
Gray Hall
Norton Theatre is a 100-seat black box. Constructed in the 1990's, this theatre is named for UNC alum and former professor Lloyd Norton, who directed nearly 200 productions during his time at UNC.
Recent past productions in Norton Theatre have included Spring Awakening, Love's Labour's Lost, Godspell, and Vanya and Sonya and Masha and Spike.
Campus Commons Performance Hall
The crossroads of UNC, Campus Commons Performance Hall is home to UNC School of Music faculty and student performances and presenter of world-renowned visiting artists.
Dance Studios
Gray Gym
Formerly an athletic gymnasium, Gray Gym was refurbished in 2015 as a dance studio and rehearsal space. It is now used for dance classes, movement classes, and rehearsals.
Crabbe Hall
Two dance studios are located on the top floor of Crabbe Hall, a building shared with the School of Art & Design. Crabbe studios are designated specifically for dance- and movement-based study.
