The Healthy Artist is a week-long program designed to foster healthy habits for Visual and Performing Artists. In partnership with the UNC Schools of Art & Design, Theatre, and Music, The Healthy Artist supports four days of FREE programming open to all artists in our community.
Monday, March 5, 5pm
Zumba is a combination of Latin and international rhythms. This group fitness class creates exciting and effective fitness through dance routines. Shimmy and shake while utilizing interval training to maximize caloric output!

Wellness for Makers
This session will demonstrate basic stretching, strengthening, and massage techniques that students can incorporate into their daily studio routines. This workshop will include a mix of background information, such as how knots develop in the body, and practical instruction, such as different ways to increase blood flow, circulation, and flexibility. These techniques are designed to help boost energy levels, alleviate pain, reduce the risk of injury, and improve posture.

Eating for Success!
Free trip to the Weld Food Bank, Greeley. Co-Programmed with the Student Nutrition and Dietetics Association. Transportation provided, please meet outside of the Arts Annex no later than 5 minutes
prior to departure time. Vehicles depart at 9:30am & 10:30am. Load up on fresh produce
and healthy foods to maintain a healthy mind and body!

An educational method used worldwide for over 100 years that teached how to change faulty postural habits, enables improved mobility, posture, performance and alertness and relief of chronic stiffness, tension and stress.
