Student Feature: Todd Swingle's Electronics and Bowling Ball Music
Swingle won the Second Annual Arts Innovation Award for his original composition, Saturn-10 Split, that combines the unusual sounds from a bowling ball with the software Max/MSP/Jitter, which is a visual programming language for music and multimedia. The piece follows the journey as the bowling ball slowly rises away from the surface of Earth into the far reaches of space.

Actor Richard Robichaux to Teach Summer Theatre Course
Actor Richard Robichaux will teach a graduate theatre course this summer for students in UNC's MA in Theatre Education program. Robichaux has appeared in Boyhood and Unbreakable Kimmy Schimdt, and he will appear in the upcoming film, Ocean's 8.

UNC Music and Theatre Collaboration Produces the Short Film "Morris"
Professors Ludek Drizhal and Ken Womble engage music and theatre students in a new kind of collaboration at UNC: a short film. The 15-minute production, "Morris," will be shot this April in Greeley and screened in the fall.
