a travel Scholarship/ Stipend to attend the HAATBP annual event in New York City!
Karli’s outstanding portfolio and intelligent essay response provided a great opportunity
to meet and network with several renowned creative professionals. The pool of candidates
this year was selective and competitive.
The One Club for Creativity, headquartered in New York City, developed a diversity-focused
event entitled “Where Are All The Black People? A Creative Career Fair.” Now in its
seventh year, HAATBP is a highly regarded event, giving young participants numerous
opportunities to interact with top creative professionals for networking, interviews,
portfolio reviews and mentoring, and those with more industry experience to develop
professionally and help shape the diversity conversation from within.
