The School of Art + Design in partnership with the Division of Student Affairs and University Archives invites all UNC students, faculty and staff to create artwork! During this unprecedented time, UNC is focused on keeping our creative community engaged and thriving through this optional opportunity to submit work for digital exhibition.

Don't consider yourself an artist? That's OK! This opportunity is meant to be an all-inclusive, stress-free activity to embrace your inner creative spirit. Works including: collage, paintings, photos, poems, digital art/animation, etc. are all welcome and valuable modes of expression. Participants are encouraged to use materials around the house, or request an art supply kit!

Those interested in becoming a part of UNC's Archives and Special Collections permanent collection for "Coronavirus at UNC: Archive Your Story" are encouraged to contact Laura Uglean Jackson to learn more about donating your physical artwork to the department.

All submitted artwork will be digitized and made available for viewing on the UNC Galleries website beginning on May 15, 2020 and continue to be updated throughout the summer.

Join our creative community and share what's keeping you inspired during this time of being a Bear at home! Let's celebrate together, even while apart!
