2025 Internship Opportunities
Social Media and Content Coordinator:
The Social Media and Content Coordinator will assist the festival team with developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy for WeldWalls Mural Festival. Content may include event information, interviews with artists, progress reports on murals, and documentation of community events.
Capture, edit, and post relevant content on WeldWalls Mural Festival social media
channels (Instagram, Facebook, website) before, during, and after festival week
Expected total hours in August: 5-8 hours a week
Expected hours during festival week: 20
Preferred qualifications: experience with various social media platforms, prior experience
with digital marketing and/or content creation, proficiency with design tools (Canva,
Adobe), prior experience working with performing or visual arts events or festivals
Requirements: must have a smart phone and reliable local transportation.
Operations Assistant:
The Operations Assistant will assist the festival team with comprehensive festival operations before and during the festival week. This may include site setup, equipment and materials management, artist check-ins, volunteer coordination, and event coordination.
Assist with festival operations as directed by Managing Director, Creative Director,
and Operations Coordinator before and during festival week
Expected total hours in August: 5-8 hours a week
Expected hours during festival week: 20
Preferred qualifications: Prior experience working with performing or visual arts
events or festivals; event staff experience; proficiency in digital organizational
tools (Google business suite or Microsoft Office, Asana or similar project management
software, Google Calendar); stage/audio/visual production experience
Requirements: must have reliable local transportation and the ability to lift up to
50 lbs.
