Theatre grad Jason Veasey is on the cast of the Broadway musical A Strange Loop, which won Best Musical at this year's Tony Awards. This meta-musical is about a Black queer writer who is writing a musical about a Black queer writer who is also writing a musical about a Black queer writer, and Veasey plays Thought 5, one of 6 "Thoughts" in the main character's mind.
Jason was just back at UNC last fall when he directed the School of Theatre Arts and Dance production of RENT.
