Welcome to our 2025-2026 Arts Season!
¡Bienvenid@s a nuestra nueva temporada de artes!

We are thrilled to invite you to a season where we embrace the idea that even serious themes—grief, injustice, identity, change—can be explored with lightness, humor and bold artistic experimentation. Play is not an escape from reality, but a lens through which we see reality more clearly. This season invites us to take risks, to be surprised and to imagine new ways of being together.
Across theater, music, dance and visual art, you’ll find works that provoke thought while sparking joy, that challenge the status quo while inviting you in with a wink, a giggle, or a moment of unexpected delight. Check out our PVA Signature Concerts that feature our beloved large ensembles like choirs, bands, orchestra and jazz groups creating a unique series of concerts that address the idea of play. Or revisit a Shakespeare classic like Measure for Measure, where complex moral issues are coupled with mistaken identity and dark humor. And don’t forget to visit our galleries, including our newly renamed Lydia and Robert Ruyle Gallery in Campus Commons.
Whether you’re a lifelong supporter or stepping into our spaces for the first time, we welcome you to come play, question and dream with us. Let’s make this season one of wonder, dialogue and shared discovery. Let’s play!
—Cristina Goletti, Dean, College of Performing and Visual Arts
