Applicants to the UNC School of Music will complete either an In-Person Audition & Interview, or a Video Audition and Virtual Interview. **Please review the audition/admission requirements closely as some graduate programs (Master's of Music and Doctorate of Arts) do not require an audition.

In-Person Auditions &  Interviews

You will be scheduled for one or more auditions/interviews depending on your primary instrument and program of study. For more information about our on-campus audition days, visit our PVA Audition Days webpage

Video Auditions and Virtual Interviews

Your video audition will be submitted to your Admission Portal after completing your application, but before your virtual interview. You will be scheduled for one or more auditions/interviews depending on your primary instrument and program of study.
