Professional/Academic Experience

Kris Pierce retired from District 6 in 2020 after 31 years, most recently serving as Director of Choral Music and Elementary Music Specialist at Chappelow K-8 Arts Magnet School.  She has served as a conductor for the Greeley Children's Chorale for the past 27 years and Guest conductor for the Fort Collins All-City Elementary Choir, the Brighton Middle School Honor Choir, as well as other regional honor choirs.  Professor Pierce has also served as Choir Director for St. Patrick’s Presbyterian Church in Greeley and as the Music Director for the Stampede Troupe's Beauty and the Beast.
