Zach Hamersley is currently the master electrician and light/sound shop manager at the University of Northern Colorado. He is also trained and practicing as a lighting designer, sound designer, audio engineer and installation artist. Zach received his MFA in Theatre Lighting and Sound Design from the University of Montana, where he also worked as a designer and adjunct professor. During his stay in Montana, Zach worked with the Montana Repertory Theatre as a designer, tour audio engineer, and tour master electrician. Some of his recent projects include designs and audio engineering for the Little Theatre of the Rockies 2019 season. He also designed lights for the School of Music’s Opera Theatre 2020 production, The Taming, and their 2021 production, The Plague Years. His most recent work consist of the sound design for The School of Theatre Arts and Dance 2021 Production, Macbeth, performed in the Garden Theatre.
