Megan Van De Hey has been a working professional actress for the last 22 years. After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Music Theatre Megan, began her professional career in Chicago, Illinois where she expanded her skills by having the opportunity to work with such artists like James Laine, Michael John LaChiusa and William Finn. She was nominated for the prestigious Jeff award numerous times for her work in A New Brain, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Spitfire Grill. Megan came to Denver 17 years ago, where she has continued her work onstage. Regionally performing at: The Arvada Center, The Aurora Fox, Curious Theatre, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, The Avenue Theatre, Vintage Theatre, Littleton Town Hall Arts Center, Backstage Theatre, Little Theatre of the Rockies, Stakey Theatric, Cherry Creek Theatre, The Pace Center and Lone Tree Arts Center. She has been a member of Actors Equity union for the last 13 year-end served on the Equity Liaison Committee for five years. Megan is a four time Denver Henry Award winner for her work in Company, Grey Gardens, Ragtime and Toxic Avenger. She is a three-time Denver Ovation award winner for her work in Nine and Next to Normal, and Best Season by an Actress. She has also received True west Awards, and was voted Best Actor by the Greeley Tribune for her work in Next to Normal and August: Osage County. She is proud and honored to be back home working for LTR.
Megan Van De Hey was a 3 time nominee for Joseph Jefferson award in Chicago. Maegan has been a 4 time Henry award recipient in the Colorado market and has been nominated for her work 16 times. She was a three time Denver Post Ovation award winner and received True West Awards, Marlowe awards and was voted Best Actor by the Greeley Tribune twice.
